I’m Reilly. It’s great to meet you.

I am a writer, storyteller and content marketing expert. I am skilled at engaging, entertaining and educating people, and building a compelling brand voice that nourishes customer loyalty and delivers on key business objectives.

As the first marketing hire at Imperfect Foods, I built and honed their iconic brand voice over 5 years, created viral content, and helped the brand scale from a small startup with 4,000 customers to a national grocery brand with over 400,000 customers, a $700 million valuation, and an eventual acquisition by Misfits Market. After Imperfect, I worked at Ridwell, a recycling startup, creating highly engaging content that articulated their mission and impact.

In my 6 years at mission-driven, early stage start-ups, I worked with teams ranging from C-Suite, lifecycle marketing, growth, product, and brand. I am uniquely skilled at meeting the needs of a diverse array of stakeholders amidst tight deadlines and project scopes that expand like demonic accordions while staying focused on key goals. And I bring hard-won wisdom, perspective, and a sense of humor to everything I do.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kenyon College with a degree in sociology in 2012. While at Kenyon I founded a late night food cart, which launched me into the first act of my career as a professional cook. Today I live in Berkeley, California where I can be found experimenting with new recipes, exercising, reading, and writing for my personal blog: wrylyreilly
